Cherry blossom season, also known as sakura, is the most beautiful time of year to visit Asia! When I was in South Korea and Japan at this time last year I filled my camera with photos of the cherry blossoms and ran around in search of ever more photogenic blooms. These small pink and white blossoms mark the start of warmer days and are a timely reminder of nature’s ability to astound us. I couldn’t get enough of the cherry blossoms…and neither could anyone else! Wherever the cherry blossom trees were blooming, the crowds gathered. So whether you like to avoid the crowds or just can’t fit a trip to Asia into the budget this year, enjoy my cherry blossom photo diary here as a bit of armchair travel and wanderlust inspiration!
