In what was probably the greatest challenge of my life, both physically and psychologically, I spent a month hiking through Patagonia at the beginning of this year. It was just me, my oversized backpack, and the trail for weeks and weeks. Maybe if I was a seasoned hiker it would’ve been a breeze, but I went in as a novice…I’m a little crazy, I just like a good challenge. Well I came out of the experience stronger and tougher, and I saw some of the most magnificent landscapes in the world. You’ve gotta work for the good views! But in case you’re not inclined to hike through the wilderness for it, I’m sharing My Patagonia Photo Diary with you here. Hopefully these can inspire you to go take a hike, and if you go to Patagonia please do tell me about it!
Here’s My Patagonia Photo Diary, enjoy!
And when you’re ready to plan your trip to Patagonia, I have prepared a whole bunch of resources for you, like The Complete Guide to Hiking the W in Torres del Paine, Day Hikes from El Chalten, Trekking through El Chalten, Hiking & Camping near El Calafate, Visit to Perito Moreno Glacier, 10 Things to do in Ushuaia, The Penguins of Punta Arenas, & Sailing the Beagle Channel.
