I recently attended my cousin’s wedding at a Buddhist monk retreat in the California redwood forest. And yes, it was as wonderful and magical as it sounds! Her and her new husband’s style was so perfectly captured in this event. The ceremony was filled with tears and smiles, and complemented by poems and prayers and beautiful songs, as we sat surrounded by the beautiful old redwood trees that rose high above the altar. Then we began the second line march down the hill, accompanied by live New Orleans jazz. We pumped our pastel parasols into the air, shook our lace tambourines, and shouted out in celebration for their special day. Then the party really got started and we ate cake and danced the night away. It was wonderful! I knew I’d be in for a long day of fun, and I wanted to be comfortable so I wore this maxi dress with flat sandals. It was perfect and I could’ve stayed at the party for hours more! The blue color of the dress was perfect to complement my eyes, and I paired it with these bold gold earrings and bracelet to add a bit of flair! This outfit is the perfect combination of comfortable and chic, and I would recommend this outdoor wedding style for you too!
